Shannon’s specialty population are young persons who are going through a tough or transitional period in their life who has a desire to learn, grow, and make positive changes. She works hard to teach children and teens real, effective skills.
“What I enjoy most about sessions with clients is teaching new skills such as progressive muscle relaxation or diaphragmatic breathing and hearing about how the client benefits from continued practice of these skills outside of our sessions.”
Shannon graduated from the University of Michigan with her Masters in Clinical Social Work. She has worked in both psychiatric inpatient and outpatient facilities. She’s a huge animal lover and is a cat mom to Teak!
