Jessica began working in clinical setting helping children and families as an undergraduate at Michigan State University in 2008. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Michigan State University and obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Michigan. 

In 2024, Jessica was acknowledged as one of Oakland County’s 40 Under 40. This award is given to professionals in our community who strive to bring meaningful change through their businesses. 

Over the last 12 years, Jessica has worked with various populations but the majority of her time has been spent helping children, teens, and parents. She is a clinical child therapist expert in both Livingston and Oakland Counties. She is the family clinical expert in the Friend of the Court SMILE program video for families going through divorce in Oakland County.

Over the course of her education, Jessica focused on helping underprivileged teens and conducted research through the Juvenile Justice Department in Lansing. She was published as a co-author on articles related to reducing recidivism in low-risk juveniles in Ingham County.  

After graduation, Jessica worked as an in-home child therapist in Detroit. There she provided therapy services to severely emotionally disturbed children and teens needing extensive therapy services.
