Emily Alberta, PMHNP, MA

Emily earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from MSU and went on to earn a Masters degree in humanistic and clinical psychology. She practiced as an LLP therapist and did psychological testing prior to going back to school and receiving her bachelors degree in Nursing.

Emily worked as an emergency room nurse for three years, and then specialized as a behavioral health nurse coordinator for a number of years before entering graduate school at Wayne State University where she earned her masters degree in nursing.

She is currently licensed as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and  prescribes psychiatric medications to those in need. She has enjoyed working in the field of mental health for over ten years.

When not pursuing her education and career, she enjoys spending time with her three children, reading, traveling, and incorporating health and fitness into her life.
