emily Cavaleri, lmsw

Emily is passionate about helping her clients build resiliency to manage the ups and downs that life brings. Emily earned her Masters of Social Work at The University of Michigan and has worked as a School Social Worker at the elementary and high school level. She is well versed in Special Education laws and the IEP process. 

In addition to individual sessions, she offers the Mini Clinic, 5 part sessions for children needing school tips & skills for success! 

She has taken courses and workshops related to race, diversity and inclusion in order to better serve her clients and the community she lives and works in. Emily’s background in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) allows her to teach her clients and their families strategies to manage symptoms related to anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Emily enjoys spending time gardening, exercising (especially boxing) and playing with her Chocolate Lab named Rocco.

 

EMILY WORKS IN THE TROY OFFICE LOCATION

Emily’s availability is Monday & Wednesday after school & every other Sunday.
